Thirsk Falcons Match Report From Facebook

Pre-season got off to the perfect start for Thirsk Falcons U14 Golds as they hosted Richmond Town in warm conditions.

Both teams started brightly and played some good football, but it was Falcons who took an early lead. Kai Hicks latched onto a through ball, beat the on rushing Richmond keeper, and fired home from distance.

Kai then doubled both his and Falcons' tally before the first-half hydration break (very 2026 World Cup of us all!) with another clinical finish.

But today was about so much more than just football.

Today was all about Abbie, one of our incredible Comets members. Abbie lives with kyphoscoliosis and several complex health conditions that affect her spine, lungs, heart, and mobility.
